• Candidates seeking admission to the BPT Programme (4 1/2 years) should have completed 17 years of age, as of the 31st December of the year of admission.
• Students with a science background (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology) at the 10+2/ equivalent level can only opt for a career in Physiotherapy. The candidate should secure 50% marks in each of these subjects as well as in English.
• The candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to the Principal of the Institution, a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized government medical officer to the effect that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the course.
• Selection shall be made only based on norms prescribed by the Government and the University from time to time

1. Candidates should be 17 years of age as in 31st December of the admission year

Candidate for admission to the course shall have passed the higher secondary examination conducted by board of higher secondary education, Govt of Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent there to by the Kerala university of health sciences through full time regular mode of study with 50%marks in aggregate for physics, chemistry and biology put together and separate minimum pass marks for physics, chemistry and biology. The aggregate mark should be calculated based on the pass criteria adopted by the concerned board conducting the qualifying examination.
