Admission shall be on a merit basis, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, or any other selection process, as per the State Government/UT administration policy and the University.

• General Merit and OBC Students: Must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks
• SC/ST/Cat-1 Students: Must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
