The admission under the General category will be on the basis of inter-se merit ranking in NEET-UG. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will allot seats through the process of centralized counseling.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed H.S.C (+2) examination/equivalent examination and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks (in case of SC/ST and OBC 40%) taking together Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English; and
Must also have secured not less than 50% marks (in case of SC/ST and OBC 40%) in the Entrance Examination.
The candidate should have passed in 10+2, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and should be NEET-UG qualified. NEET qualification is a pre-requisite for admission to BDS. Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-UG.
