The admission is based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG programs are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY-A and CATEGORY-B at the 1st Year Level and Lateral Entry at the 2nd Year Level.

• Reservation Policy – Seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the Govt. approved Policy.
• Category-A Seats: 70% of seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved
• Category-B Seats: 30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Category - Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

 1 . 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

2 . 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota candidates.

3 . In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake   based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
