Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats available in the College/branch. These seats are filled by the Convener, EAMCET. 

Category-B seats constitute 30% of the total available seats. These seats are filled by the College Management as per guidelines of APSCHE. Following a definite procedure, the Management maintains total transparency in filling the seats. The admissions are on the basis of the rank obtained in the EAMCET / marks obtained in the qualifying Examination at +2 stage

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG programs are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY – A and CATEGORY – B at 1st Year Level and Lateral Entry at 2nd Year Level.

• Reservation Policy – Seats will be filled by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as per the Govt. approved Policy.
• Category-A Seats: 70% of seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved
• Category-B Seats: 30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Category - Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
