    Admissions will be made under CET / COMEDK / NRI / Management quota.

    Mandatory Entrance Examination to be taken – K-CET/COMED-K

    Eligibility Criteria

    The Candidate should have passed the Karnataka State second-year PUC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics. Mathematics along with Chemistry I Bio-technology / Biology as opted subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects, irrespective of the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test. ln case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and other backward classes (Category -1, 2k 2B, 3A and 3B) the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

    The students who have passed the three-year diploma in Karnataka with a minimum of 45% are eligible for entry to the third semester through the Common Entrance Test.

      FOR SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A 3B) CATEGORY CANDIDATES:

      A candidate who has Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 40% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in BE.

      The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry are less than the required aggregate percentage for the pursuit of determination of eligibility.

    Through Management Quota

    • Average 50% and above in PUC or 12th standard in physics, mathematics, chemistry/computer science/electronics.
