    Admission Details

    The admission shall be based on NEET exam.

    Candidates need to have qualified NEET by securing the minimum qualifying cutoff percentile to get admission in the BAMS course. Admission to BAMS courses will be taken on the basis of the NEET-UG score and the corresponding rank. Therefore, candidates are required to qualify for NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). In order to take admitted to the BAMS course, candidates are required to secure the NEET cutoff percentile.

    Eligibility Criteria

     The eligibility to seek admission to a Bachelor of Ayurveda education shall be as under: -

     (a) The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of general category and forty percent. Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes:

    Provided that in respect of persons with disability candidates specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five percent. In the case of the General category forty percent. In the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

    (b) No candidate shall be admitted to the B.A.M.S Degree program unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program Provided that, the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and disabled candidates.

    • Candidates are required to pass Class 12th or equivalent examination with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English core in both Class 11 and 12 from a recognized state/central board.
    • He/she should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or as on 31st December of the respective year. Not more than 25 years on or before the 31st December of the respective year of admission in the first year of the course.
    • An aspirant from the general category needs to secure an aggregate of 50% in their Class 12th Board examination. While for SC/ST/OBC candidates, the qualifying percentage is 40%.
