The selection criterion of the candidate shall be on the basis of merit.

Admission based on the basis from the Merit list of State Common Entrance Test.

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 (12th standard) or equivalent examination with science stream i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 45% marks for general candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST candidate.
• A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 17 years as of 31st December of the year of admission to the B.P.T. degree course.

A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) from the State of Maharashtra or other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
