The selection will be based on the JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL) of the respective academic session, subject to candidates fulfilling the above-mentioned minimum eligibility criteria. 

• Admission to the four-year degree course leading to a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) is through the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE(Main) conducted each year by CBSE, New Delhi, for admission to the Engineering Colleges of Orissa.

All students who pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science/ IT/ Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognised Indian Board can apply for admissions. Applying students must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics along with their chosen optional subject. Students from Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities should have secured an aggregate minimum of 40% marks.

• The minimum eligibility for appearing in JEE(Main) is passed in +2 science (Pass or appearing 10+2 examination of CHSE or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
• LATERAL ADMISSION

  Passed or appeared, in three-year diploma examinations (two years in case of lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering from the State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE-approved Institute/ from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
