Admission to SRCEM for B.Tech courses shall be made through On-line Off-campus Web-based counseling by National Informatics Centre (NIC), on merit in the JEE examinations.

Eligibility Criteria

Should be passed in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects : Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies.
Obtained at least 45 % marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Admission in B.Tech IInd year (Lateral Entry) for diploma holders (3 years or more) from an approved institution with at least 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
