Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Lateral Entry to B.Tech 3rd Semester: For each branch, vacant seats are open to candidates seeking lateral admission to the 3rd semester and who have done a 3 yr Diploma in Engineering conducted by the State Council of Technical Education, Jharkhand or B.Sc with a minimum of 45% marks.
