Admission in MCE for four years B.Tech. The course is made under the Government of Bihar and is being conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board as constituted under the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995. The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in MCE are advised to appear in the Screening and Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E./JEE. The Candidate should Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subjects.

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.

For Lateral Entry

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
Or
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

For Migration from Other Universities:

1. B.E./B.Tech Ist year minimum 50% marks or equivalent
2. 50% PCM or above at XII level.
