The admission shall be based on the NEET exam.

The Students are admitted to the BAMS course on the merit basis obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

The Candidate wishing admission to the first professional B.A.M.S. should have qualified H.S.E.B. (Science Stream) with a ‘B’ group or equivalent examination and should have cleared NEET in the current academic year.

Students must have passed the Twelfth (10 + 2) standard with science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the same, and with English as one of the languages. He/she must have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) of the 12th standard examination. Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December in the year of admission for the First BAMS course. NEET is compulsory for NRI students too.
