Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the entrance examination (written test, fitness test, interview, and percentage in qualifying examination) or any other process as per the policy of the state government/Affiliating University.

a) i. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline in 10+2+3 years pattern with 50% of marks from a recognized University and having at least participated in the inter-college/Inter Zonal/District/School competition in sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India.

Or

ii. Bachelor’s degree in physical education with 45% of marks

Or

iii. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% of marks and studied physical education as a compulsory/elective subject

Or

iv. Bachelor’s degree with 45% of marks and having participated in National/Inter University/State Competitions or secured 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

Or

v.  Bachelor’s degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

Or

vi. Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates, i.e., trained physical education teachers/coaches)

b)   Age: Not completed 30 years as on 1^st July. For SC / ST, 3 years relaxation is given.

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum qualifying percentage (varies by university norms).
• Participation in sports or physical activities at the school, college, district, state, or national levels is preferred.
• Applicants may need to undergo a physical fitness test and a personal interview.
