The admission shall be on the basis of TNEA entrance exam.

Minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 and should possess a minimum 50% of a mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University. Candidates should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in their Higher Secondary level.

Candidates with H.Sc. (vocational stream) other equivalent examinations.

A pass with minimum average marks in any one of the related subjects, Vocational Theory and Practicals, put together 40% aggregate for MBC/DNC and SC/ST Communities, 45% for BC, and 50% for OC.

Diploma / B.Sc. Candidates (Lateral Entry)

A pass in Diploma Examination with an overall percentage of marks obtained by the candidate from the first semester to the sixth semester, put together 40% aggregate for BC, MBC/DNC, SC/ST Communities, and 45% for OC.
