Admission is based on CMAT Entrance Exam.

Admission to the MCA program is given on the basis of CMAT conducted by AICTE.

• The candidate shall have appeared at CMAT examination conducted by AICTE and shall have passed the qualifying examination (graduation) with minimum 50 % (45 % for SC/ST/SEBC)
• The candidate shall also have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or Bachelors’ degree with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects. 
• Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year), candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the stream of Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) are only eligible. Candidates whose graduation result is awaited can also apply. However, merit number in such case will be given, if the mark sheet of the passing of qualifying exam is submitted within the scheduled time limit.

• Candidate must have appeared in CMAT with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) in BCA/B.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(Computer Science) or equivalent. OR
• B.Sc./B.Com./BA (50% for general category and 45% for reserved category) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at graduation level with additional bridge course as may be decided by the competent authority.
• Candidates who have appeared in the final year examination can also apply.
