Admission in GEC Buxar for four years B.Tech. course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The candidates desirous of seeking Admission in BCE are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E. Admission is conducted through the Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) ONLY.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Eligibility:

• First Year (1st Semester): Candidate should have a 10th-grade pass and cleared the Diploma Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE).
• Second Year (3rd Semester): Candidates who have passed ITI, 12th, or other vocational courses are eligible for direct admission through the DCECE (LE) examination, conducted by the BCECEB.
