Students should have passed Class XII from CBSE or equivalent with 55% marks in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following subjects, i.e., Chemistry, Computer Science! Information Science. Biotechnology or Biology.  

Lateral Entry

A student must have passed 3 3-year or more Diploma course in Engineering./ Tech with at least 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters. Students with a Diploma (Arch) are eligible for BE 2nd year (Civil Engg.)
OR
Should have a Diploma of 2 years after 10+2 with at least 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters.
OR
Should have passed 3 3-year or more B.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate with Maths as a subject.

The Candidate Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
