Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

The minimum qualification required for applying in a B. Tech course is 10+2 or its equivalent from any recognized Board. The students should study Mathematics with Physics and Chemistry in their 10+2.
