Admission Procedure based on JEXPO Examination.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed in Madhyamik or equivalent Xth standard examination (with English, Physical Science/Science & Mathematics) with minimum 35 % marks in aggregate.

Age: Not less than 15 years as on 1st July of the year of examination.

Through the VOCLET conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD:

Criteria: Must have passed or appeared for the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) (erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training)or having passed 2 years ITI plus Madhyamik or equivalent examination. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET. ITI trades must be of continuous 2-year duration, and a single certificate should mention that. Candidates who have passed a vocational course from Councils/Boards other than WBSCT&VE&SD (VED) (erstwhile, WBSCVE&T) are not eligible.

1st year Through JEXPO conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD Criteria they were Passed in Madhyamik or equivalent Xth standard examination (with Physical Science/Science & Mathematics) with minimum 35 % marks in aggregate. Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply. Age Not less than 15 years as of 1st July of the year of examination.

2nd year Through VOCLET conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD Criteria Must have passed or appeared the (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (Vocational Education Division) (erstwhile, West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training) or having passed 2 year ITI plus Madhyamik or equivalent passed. It appears ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and a single certificate should mention that.
