Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

    Candidature Type - 1. Maharashtra State Candidature

    A candidate is considered eligible for admission to the seats of Maharashtra State coming under the purview of the competent authority, subject to fulfillment of any one of the eligibility requirements (As mentioned in the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, Information Brochure for Admission to Full-Time Professional Diploma Technical Courses).

    Eligibility Criteria details :

    First Year of Post SSC Diploma in Engineering / Technology

    1. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. The Candidate should be an Indian national, have passed the SSC or its equivalent Examination from a recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate Marks. Hindi Linguistic Minority Candidate

    The Candidate Should be an Indian national

    Passed SSC or its equivalent Examination from a recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate Marks. Candidate must be Maharashtra Domiciled and belonging to a particular linguistic minority community from within the state and as notified by the Government.

    Note: The term 'aggregate marks' used herein shall mean as follows

    A. For Maharashtra State Board Candidates:-

    1. The candidates who have passed the SSC Examination previously, the aggregate marks shall be he total of marks obtained by the candidate in any 5 subjects where he/she has scored maximum marks.

    B. For ICSE Candidates-

    a. Student seeking admission based on Group 1 & Group 2 subjects only, the aggregate marks shall be the total of marks in any of the 5 subjects from Group 1 & Group 2 where he/she has scored marks:

    b. Student seeking admission based on Group 1, Group 2 & Group 3, aggregate marks shall be the total of all subjects from all groups.

    C. For CBSE Candidates-

    The aggregate mark means the total of marks obtained by the candidate, including all subjects as declared on the Marksheet.

    D. For CBSE/ICSE Candidates:-

    • In case the result of the candidate is given in terms of grades, such Candidates are required to submit the graded result in the equivalent marks authorised by the concerned institute/Board. Candidates passing SSC from other than State Boards or Central Boards shall bring an equivalent certificate from the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE).
