Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course of Bachelor of Science - Information Technology, shall have passed the XII Standard examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate (In one Attempt) for Open Category and 40% marks in aggregate (In one Attempt) in case of Reserved category candidates.
OR
Candidates who have passed the 3-year post-S.S.C. Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology / Electrical, Electronics & Video Engineering and Allied branches / Mechanical and Allied Branches. Civil and Allied branches of Engineering are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (I.T.) degree course. However the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other Government Body. Minimum marks required 45% aggregate for Open Category candidates and 40% for reserved candidates.
OR
Candidates with post HSC-Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology and allied branches will be eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of B.Sc. (I.T.). However, the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government Body Minimum Marks require 45% aggregate for open-category candidates and 40% aggregate.
