The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2025 and obtained non zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2025 conducted by the Competent Authority: Provided that preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in PCM MHT CET 2025.

The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 and should have obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in JEE Main(B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in MHT-CET 2026

(a) For First Year: 

(1) For Undergraduate, Integrated or Dual Degree courses.-Candidates passing SSC and HSC or 10+2 Examination or Diploma in Engineering or D. Voc. Examination from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State;

(2) For Post Graduate courses.-Candidates passing HSC or 10+2 Examination or Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Pharmacy or Diploma of Vocation and also Qualifying Examination from a recognized Institution in the Maharashtra State;

(3) the candidate who is either domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra;

(b)For Direct Second Year: 

(1) For Engineering. Candidates passing SSC or HSC and also Diploma in Engineering or Technology or Bachelor of Science or Diploma of Vocation (D. Voc.) or its equivalent from a recognised institution in Maharashtra State;

(2) For Pharmacy. - Candidates passing HSC and Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution in Maharashtra State;

(3) For Post Graduate course in Management and Computer: Candidates passing HSC or 10+2 Examination or diploma in Engineering or Technology and also Qualifying Examination from a recognised institution in Maharashtra State; Application.

(4) Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra.

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate.-

The candidate,-

1. (i) should be a citizen of India;
2. (ii) should have Passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2026 and obtained non zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2026 conducted by the Competent Authority;
   
   (There candidates are eligible to apply for all 29 major disciplines declared by AICTE)

OR

3. (iii) Should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship as one of the subject and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 and obtained non zero score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) MHT-CET 2026 conducted by the Competent Authority is eligible for admission to any of the following Courses under major disciplines declared by concerned Appropriate Authority or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), namely:-

(iv) Should have passed a minimum three-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty five per cent marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra State only) ;
5. (v) Passed three years Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) stream in the same or allied sector;

(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates.-

The candidate,-

1. (i) should be a citizen of India ;
2. (ii) should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty-five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and obtained non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in PCM MHT-CET 2026 and obtained non zero score in PCM MHT-CET 2026 conducted by the Competent Authority:
   
   Provided that preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) over the candidates who obtained non-zero score in PCM MHT CET 2026;

(iii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least forty-five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent. marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and obtained non zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 (PCM or PCB) and obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2026 conducted by the Competent Authority is eligible for admissions to the Courses under following major disciplines declared by relevant Appropriate Authority or All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), namely:-

Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining a non-zero positive score in Joint Entrance Test (JEE) (Main) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2026;
5. (iv) The candidate should have passed a minimum three years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least forty-five per cent. marks (at least forty per cent marks, in case of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;
6. (v) Passed three years Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) Stream in the same or allied sector;

and

Any other eligibility conditions and requirements declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) – Engineering /Technology (3 Years duration)

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate.-

The candidate,-

1. (i) should be a citizen of India;
2. (ii) should have passed minimum three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least forty-five per cent. marks ( at least forty per cent marks in case of Candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or Central Government or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;

OR

3. (iii) should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least forty-five per cent. marks ( at least forty per cent marks in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject;
4. (iv) should have passed three years D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector; and
5. (v) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
