Admissions to the B.Tech. programmes of the Institute are made once a year in July through the Centralized Admission Examination (Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main)). Counseling of the students/ qualified candidates of the said examination is managed by Centralized Counseling Board (Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA))

1 The admissions to B.Tech programs shall be governed by the rules of the Technical Education and Skill Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and/or any other competent authority authorized by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh for this purpose.

2 Admissions to the first year of all the UG programmes shall be made before the start of each Academic Year, through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Government, or on the basis of any other relevant Entrance Examination or eligibility criteria as decided and published by the Government from time to time.  

Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

The student needs to qualify State Level Entrance EXAM or JEE Main.
