The Admission is purely made on a merit basis

• A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree course of B.Sc. (IT) shall have passed XII standard examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject and should have secured not less than 45% marks aggregate for Open category and 40% marks in aggregate in case of Reserved category candidates.

OR

• Every candidate admitted to the degree course in the Constituent / affiliated college / recognized Institute conducting the course shall have to register himself/ herself with the University.
• The course shall be fulltime course.  The duration of the course shall be six semesters spread over three years.
• Number of students: A batch shall not contain more than 60 students.
• The course shall consist of 29 theory paper and sixth semester of project work completed in the Institution / Industry / research Organization.
• All papers will be of 75 marks theory, 25 marks internal assessment and 50 marks practical.
• There will be compulsory Project in 3^rd year.

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course of Bachelor of Science - Information Technology, shall have passed the XII Standard examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate (In one Attempt) for Open Category and 40% marks in aggregate (In one Attempt) in case of Reserved category candidates.

OR

Candidates who have passed the 3-year post-S.S.C. Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology / Electrical, Electronics & Video Engineering and Allied branches / Mechanical and Allied Branches. Civil and Allied branches of Engineering are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (I.T.) degree course. However the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other Government Body. Minimum marks required 45% aggregate for Open Category candidates and 40% for reserved candidates.

OR

Candidates with post HSC-Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Information Technology and allied branches will be eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of B.Sc. (I.T.). However, the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government Body Minimum Marks require 45% aggregate for open-category candidates and 40% aggregate.
