Admission of the students into various programs of the institution is based on State-level Common Entrance test, EAMCET /ECET, conducted by Government of A.P

There are two categories in the admission process.

• Category A:- 70% seats based on the common entrance test conducted by the government of A.P
• Category B:- 30% of the seats are filled under Management / NRI category as per the norms/regulations prescribed by the A.P Technical education department.

Passed XII std or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies and obtained at least 50 % in all the subjects (and in PX*M separately) taken together.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
