Admission through Category A:

The admission will be offered through the state-level entrance exam APEAPCET. Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses should appear in the entrance exams. Qualified candidates should attend for counseling process for seat allotment. Seat allotment will be given by the Convener on a per-merit basis & as per reservation category guidelines given by the government. 10% of seats will be allotted to OC-EWS Candidates.

Admission through Category B:

Candidates can also apply for admission into B-Category seats. In this category 1st preference will be given to JEE Qualified candidates and next to EAPCET qualified & then to not qualified. Candidates should have passed intermediate or 12th standard with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and should have obtained more than 45% marks in case of OC & BC candidates & 40% in case of SC/ST Candidates.

EAPCET.  

The admission to the B.Tech. course, excepting NRI Quota, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called “Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test” (APEAPCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. All eligible applicants have to qualify for the entrance test, EAPCET. The candidates will be admitted strictly following the merit secured in the EAPCET. The Convener-AC of APEAPCET admits the candidates based on marks secured in the Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in APEAPCET.

Management Quota Admission Procedure:

The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit. The candidates should have a first-class in Intermediate or a qualifying examination, or 50% secured in optional subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination as equivalent thereto.
