Candidates must qualify in the Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM 2025) conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala.

The student who has passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, if vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects, are eligible for admission. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.

In the case of Engineering Courses, candidates belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC or PD, the minimum mark obtained in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 40% instead of 45%.

Lateral Entry:-

Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent are eligible for admission.

 SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination

 Students who secure 70% marks in the Diploma examination have to pay only the government. Engineering College Tuition Fee.

 Advance Booking Facility is available for management quota.
