The students who have passed the II PUC/ XII Standard/ Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Biology / Electronics / Computer. In the case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka (Karnataka candidates), the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40 %. With regard to the qualification earned from foreign countries, an Equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities is Mandatory for admission to the B.E. program. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
