The students are admitted to the Oxford College of Engineering on Karnataka (PGET/KMAT)  merit.

All the aspiring candidates should write state level KMAT (for management quota) / PGCET (for University quota) and the score card has to be submitted in the office before the commencement of classes.

3 Years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% marks in case of Karnataka SC/ST/Cat-1 candidate) of all subjects including Languages. Must have studied Mathematics/Business Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Science /Computer Applications/Computer Programming as one of the Optional/ Elective subject; if not studied in degree, must have passed one of the subjects specified above securing 50% of the marks in that subject in the PUC/10+2 or equivalent and secured a rank in the entrance test (PGET/KMAT)

Admission to MCA programme is open for the candidates who have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% i.e. integer 50% (rounding-off of aggregate percent is not permitted) of marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations with Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at Degree Level. Provided, further that a candidate who has studied and passed one of the subjects specified in the first proviso in the Pre-University course with 50% of marks in that subject shall be considered for admission.
