General Eligibility Criteria (Regular Admissions)

• Minimum Marks: Minimum 50% average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or required subjects).

• Age Limit: Maximum 21 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

• Backward Class (BC):

  • Minimum Marks: Minimum 45% average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or required subjects).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 21 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

• Most Backward Class (MBC):

  • Minimum Marks: Minimum 40% average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or required subjects).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 21 years as of July 1st of the admission year.

• Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST):

  • Minimum Marks: Mere pass in the qualifying examination.

  • Age Limit: No age limit.

  • Lateral Entry Admission Norms

For candidates entering directly into the 2nd year of undergraduate engineering programs with a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics:

• Government Quota:

  • Must have passed the qualifying Diploma Examination.

  • Eligibility: Strictly for candidates from Tamil Nadu.

  • Must satisfy the minimum marks criteria.

  • Selection: Admission is processed via the centralized government counseling system.

• Management Quota:

• Must have passed the qualifying Diploma Examination.

• Eligibility: Open to all Indian students.

• Must satisfy minimum marks criteria.

• Selection: Direct admission through the college.

• The Candidates are selected based on their marks in the HSC (+2) examinations.
