Admission Details
B.Tech admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and AICTE.
The admission process is 50% of seats are earmarked for admission under the Government quota by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. Admissions to the remaining 50% of seats are done by the Management, based on the score at the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination and the marks scored for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Plus Two examination. It includes the NRI seats also. Admission is strictly based on merit.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for Govt allotments and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
The Candidate should passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
