Admission Details
Candidates seeking admission to all the UG programmes under Management quota must have appeared for the common entrance test for Pondicherry private Engineering Colleges (CENTAC) and should also fulfill all the requirements prescribed by the Pondicherry University/ AICTE/Govt. of Puducherry for the course.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Academic examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or other equivalent examination. A minimum of 45% marks for general and 40 % from OBC / MBC / BCM / EBC / BT / SC candidates is required. Also candidate should have done the prescribed subjects, of mathematics, physics and one of the following optional subjects, Chemistry / Bio technology / Computer Science / Biology ( Botany and Zoology) for the candidates of Tamil Nadu. For candidates belonging to other state will need JEE main score for admission.
B.Tech course (Lateral entry):
The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the three year diploma or four year sandwich diploma course in engineering / technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) in aggregate in the subjects covered from 3rd to final semester or a pass in any B.Sc. course from a recognized University as defined by the UGC, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject, upto a maximum of 20% of the sanctioned intake, which will be over and above, supernumerary to the approved intake. The student should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
