Candidates seeking admission to all the UG programmes under Management quota must have appeared for the common entrance test for Pondicherry private Engineering Colleges (CENTAC) and should also fulfill all the requirements prescribed by the Pondicherry University/ AICTE/Govt. of Puducherry for the course.

B.Tech course (Lateral entry):

The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the three year diploma or four year sandwich diploma course in engineering / technology with a minimum of 50% marks  (45% marks for reserved category) in aggregate in the subjects covered from 3rd to final semester or a pass in any B.Sc. course from a recognized University as defined by the UGC, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject, upto a maximum of 20% of the sanctioned intake, which will be over and above, supernumerary to the approved intake. • The Candidate should be pass in (10+2) with 45% or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and any other subject from a recognized board.
• SC/ST- 40%- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and (Computer Science or Biology),
•  BC/MBC/OBC - 40%- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and (Computer Science or Biology), OC- 45%- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and (Computer Science or Biology).
