COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET) ONLY FOR KARNATAKA STUDENTS The Government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test for admission into various professional courses. The CET is generally conducted during May, and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. A merit list will be prepared based on the 50% weightage for the marks of the qualifying examination and 50% weight for the CET Marks for declaring the CET rank. COMEDK BOTH FOR KARNATAKA AND NON-KARNATAKA STUDENTS. The Comdek test for admission into various professional courses will be conducted all over India. The Code is generally conducted during May and the notifications will appear in all leading newspapers. The COMEDK ranking is based on the performance of students in the COMEDK entrance test only. Seat Matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.

The Karnataka Examination Authority, Government of Karnataka, conducts the entrance test.

• COMED-K- 30%

• Management- 25%

The Admission for KEA seats shall be done by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore. The Candidate can contact the below-mentioned address during April / May every year and appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET). 

The Admission for the COMED-K seat is done by the COMED-K. The Candidate can contact the below-mentioned address during April / May every year.

The qualifying examination is the 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.

General Merit Candidate should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory along with Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as one the subjects. However, changes if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.

1. Admission eligibility for the Engineering Undergraduate Course based on GO No. ED10TEC2006.

2. The applicant should be a citizen of India.

3. To be considered for seats under the KEA Merit Quota, candidates must have taken the KEA Test administered by the KEA Cell.

4. Minimum eligibility requirements include passing PUC-2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics and Mathematics, along with one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics. Additionally, English must be one of the language subjects.

5. For (SC/ST, CAT-1, IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB) candidates, the minimum eligibility requirement is 40% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics. English must also be one of the language subjects.
