The candidates who want to seek admission in SICET have to qualify in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) examination conducted by the Government of TS. To be eligible to appear in the EAMCET examination, the student should have passed the 10 + 2 with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as their main stream and should obtain min of 50%.(i.e Inter – Group subjects)

Admission to regular B.Tech Programmes is made based on the rank secured in Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Admission to lateral-entry for three-year diploma holders into B.Tech II year is based on the rank secured in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET).

The candidates should have passed the 10 + 2 with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as their mainstream and should obtain a minimum of 50%.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
