All the eligible applicants for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAPCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.

Admissions under Management Quota (30% of intake in each branch):
The seats shall be filled either on the basis of rank obtained in EAPCET or of securing not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination. 

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG programs are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY-A and CATEGORY-B at the 1st Year Level and Lateral Entry at the 2nd Year Level.

• Reservation Policy – Seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the Govt. approved Policy.
• Category-A Seats: 70% of seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved
• Category-B Seats: 30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Category - Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
