Admission will be based on the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) has adopted the entrance examination MHT-CET, conducted by the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell & JEE-Main, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

• DTE CAP Round Admission: 80% seats are allotted by DTE as per the guidelines published on the DTE website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in
• 65% admission by Central Allotment Process (CAP) of the Government of Maharashtra through MH-CET 2020.
• 15% admission by Central Allotment Process (CAP) of the Government of Maharashtra through JEE/ MH-CET 2020 for MS/OMS candidates.
• 20% admission for the institute-level quota.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

(i) For HSC Candidates:

The merit list for the Candidates as per rule 5(1), 5(2), 5(3) and 5(6) of these rules, shall be prepared based on marks or score secured by the Candidate in the MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority or marks or score secured in any other examination conducted by the concerned appropriate authority for admission to these Courses. (ii) Direct Second Year Engineering

The merit list shall be prepared based on marks obtained by the Candidate, based on which Diploma / Degree is awarded by the examining authority Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of different Candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below, – (a) higher percentage of marks in SSC; (b) higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC; (c) higher percentage of marks in Science at SSC; (d) higher percentage of marks in English at SSC.
