Admission through CET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) annually for aspirants pursuing professional courses. The students seeking the seats through the Government quota shall appear for this “Common Entrance Test” conducted by the KEA. More details on CET may be obtained by going through the UGCET page of the KEA website www.kea.kar.nic.in
Admission through COMED-K
The candidate seeking admission to any of the undergraduate courses shall appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the COMED-K authorities. The seat selection process is based on the seat allotment procedures of COMED-K. The candidate wishing to get admitted under COMED-K is informed to refer to the website www.comedk.org
Admission through Management Quota
Students seeking admission to Engineering programs through the Management Quota may directly approach the college office. Such students should write an “Entrance Test” conducted by the college. Based on the merit list of the entrance tests, students are admitted to the college through the Management Quota.
The selection based on KCET and COMED K entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate Should have passed in II PUC / 12th Std. / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer.
Lateral Entry
Students with a three-year diploma in a respective specialization can join the second year BE course. They must apply for the “Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET)” conducted by KEA and follow the seat allotment procedure.
Pass in the Pre-University (or+2) examination with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry (or Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Bio-Technology). For SC/ST/Cat-1/OBC reservation candidates 40%.
