• The candidate should be an Indian National
• Should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and secured a minimum of 50% marks.
• Should have 135 marks out of 300 marks [135 marks (i.e., 45%) in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Class categories of Maharashtra State] in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics added together. • Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma courses in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the polytechnic affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnic situated in/out of the State of Maharashtra (for OMS candidates only). Diploma candidates are admitted only on Institute Level Seats.

• The Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained Non-Zero score in MHT-CET (current Year) OR Obtained Non-Zero Positive score in JEE Main Paper-I (current Year) conducted by the Competent Authority
