• Should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and secured a minimum of 50% marks.
• Should have 135 marks out of 300 marks [135 marks (i.e., 45%) in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Class categories of Maharashtra State] in subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics added together. • Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma courses in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the polytechnic affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State (for Maharashtra State Candidates) or such polytechnic situated in/out of the State of Maharashtra (for OMS candidates only). • (i)The Candidate should be an Indian National;

• ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45 % marks for Open Category and at least 40 % marks for Backward Class Categories and Persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
