Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counseling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the College office.

Regular Admission- The students seeking admission to the first semester of the eight semesters  B.E./B.Tech.Degree Programme shall require satisfying eligibility rules as prescribed by the University and the Government of Tamil Nadu from time to time.

Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

• Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the Diploma (10+3/12+2) examination.
• Mgt. Quota - Based on the entrance exam conducted by Association of Management of Chennai Anna University Affiliated Colleges

HSC (Academic) - Pass  with Minimum average in Maths, Physics and Chemistry

• BC&BCM-45%
• MBC&DNC-40%
• SC,SCA&ST-40%

HSC (Vocational) - Pass any one of Maths, Physics, and Chemistry with related Vocational theory and practical and Minimum average in

Lateral Entry Admission -

The students who possess the Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E./B.Tech. degree programme and required to satisfy the conditions of admissions there to prescribed by the University and the Government of Tamil Nadu.

           The candidates who possess the Degree in Science(B.Sc.,) (10+2+3 stream) with Mathematics as a subject at the B.Sc Level are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E./B.Tech. Such candidates shall undergo two additional Engineering subject(s) in the third and fourth semesters as prescribed by the respective Board of Studies(BoS).
