The eligibility criteria for admission into UG programs are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY – A and CATEGORY – B at 1st Year Level and Lateral Entry at 2nd Year Level.

• Reservation Policy – Seats will be filled by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as per the Govt. approved Policy.
• Category-A Seats: 70% of seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved
• Category-B Seats: 30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Category - Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Candidates with At Least Fifty percent marks Either in the bachelor's degree and/or in the master's degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, bachelors in engineering or technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
