• Admission will be based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

Admissions to all B.Tech. Courses in the Institute are done by Directorate of Technical Education, Bhopal, through a process of on line off campus counseling based on the common merit list of JEE. All courses are affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology, Bhopal.

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/are eligible for the courses.

• A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM 45% for General & 40% for reserve category) will be considered as per DTE rules as subjects or any other examination.
• Candidates qualified JEE will be considered first.

Lateral Entry : Candidates qualified Diploma from M.P. Technical Board with minimum 45% marks/ B.Sc. degree examination from an university recognized by the university grants commission with a minimum 45%marks at and have passed 12th examination with mathematics UR candidates.
Eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) of M.P. shall be - 40% in the aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
