Admission based on Entrance Test.

a. Selection/admission will be made purely on a merit basis 

b. Merit list will be prepared category-wise, as per marks obtained in the entrance exam. 

c. If two or more applicants have the same marks in the entrance test, preference will be given to the applicant with higher educational qualifications. 

d. If two or more applicants have the same marks in the entrance test with the same educational qualification then preference will be given to the applicant with a higher percentage of marks in that degree (educational qualification). 

e. If any selected candidate does not take admission within the stipulated time, then admission will be given to the candidate next-in-line, as per the merit list.

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program. Candidates with at least 55% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program. 

Minimum Educational Qualification should be Graduate/Post-graduate (B.A/B.Com/B.Sc.) from a college/university recognized by UGC

a. Minimum 50% marks (for General category)

b. Minimum 47% marks (for OBC category)

c. Minimum 45% marks (for SC/ST category)

d. In-service Candidates (should be working as Primary, Graduate, or Post Graduate teachers on a  regular basis in Govt. schools of the state)

(Candidate must have studied school teaching subject at the Graduation/Post Graduation level. Candidate with vocational subject/IT/other technical courses will not be eligible for admission to B.Ed Course)
