Category- A Seats:

• These seats will be filled by the Convener, EAMCET admissions.

Category- B Seats:

• These seats will be filled by the College as per the guidelines of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. Candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974, as amended from time to time.

The eligibility criteria for admission into the first year of Bachelor of Technology Degree programs shall be as mentioned below:

• The Candidate shall be an Indian National.
• The Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any equivalent examination recognized by JNTUK, Kakinada on the date of admission.
• Seats in each program in the College are classified into Category-A (70% of intake), and Category-B (30% of intake) besides Lateral Entry.

Lateral Entry Seats:

• Additional seats of 20% of the sanctioned intake in each branch shall be filled up in the third semester directly based on the rank secured by the candidates in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET- FDH) in accordance with the instructions received from the Convener, ECET and Government of Andhra Pradesh.

A candidate seeking admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must pass the Board of Intermediate Examination, Government of Andhra Pradesh, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. All the eligible applicants for admission into the first year shall have to qualify in the EAPCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP.
