Category 'A': The admissions into A Category are made by Govt. of A.P. through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in the Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% and must qualify AP-EAPCET exam conducted by the Government of A.P. The admissions will be made through web counseling. 

Category 'B': The admissions into Category B will be made by the management of the College based on merit in AP-EAPCET/Intermediate.

(Lateral Entry B.Tech)

The admissions are made by Govt. of A.P. through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in 3-year Diploma course or equivalent exam and must qualify AP-ECET exam conducted by Govt. of A.P. The admissions will be made through web counseling.

70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the Engineering and Agriculture Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.

In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under the lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

• The students have to qualify in the Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% and must qualify AP-EAPCET exam.
• Lateral Entry B.Tech- The students have to qualify in a 3-year Diploma course or equivalent exam and must qualify AP-ECET exam.

 Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
