The admissions are divided into two categories, Category 'A' (70%) and Category 'B' (30%).

• Category 'A': The admissions into the A Category are made by Govt. of A.P. through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in the Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% and must qualify for the EAMCET exam conducted by Govt. of A.P. The admissions will be made through web counseling.
• Category 'B': The admissions into the ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College based on merit in EAMCET/Intermediate.

Lateral Entry B.Tech: The admissions are made by Govt. of A.P. through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in 3 years Diploma course or equivalent exam and must qualify for the ECET exam conducted by Govt. of A.P. The admissions will be made through web counseling.

• A-Category (Convener Quota) Admissions:
  • Criteria followed
    • First B.Tech – EAMCET ranks
    • Second B.Tech (Lateral Entry) – ECET ranks
  • The remaining seats shall be filled on a merit basis with candidates including those from other States and union territories who have secured rank at AIEEE (JEE-Main) and secured not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.

The students have to qualify in the Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45%.

Lateral Entry: The students have to qualify in 3 3-year Diploma course or equivalent exam.

The Candidate Should have passed the 12th Standard. B-category students should also complete the 12th Standard. All students should have passed the relevant B. Tech degree.
