Bachelor of Technology Seats will be filled by merit based on rank in AP EAMCET.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

1) A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:

i) Physical Sciences 

ii) Mathematics

Seats will be filled by merit based on rank in AP EAMCET.

(a)  40% of seats reserved under Farmers Quota will be filled by the University.

(b)  Admission into the remaining 60% seats will be taken up by the Convener, AP EAMCET through Web-based General Engineering Counseling. The candidates shall exercise Web options during General Engineering Counseling. Those who apply under Farmers Quota can also apply for general quota seats if they desire.

2)15% Supernumerary seats are available for candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering.  These seats will be filled by merit based on rank in Agricultural Engineering Common Entrance Test (AGRIENGGCET) conducted by the university.
