Admission Process Based on COMED-K/ KCET Entrance Test.

Admissions are available through KCET, COMED-K, and JEE Main.

Eligibility for Admission into I year B.E.:

• The Candidate should Pass in II PUC or equivalent examination securing not less than 50% of marks in aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with, one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics.

Admission for Lateral Entry into direct II Year:

• Pass in Diploma or equivalent examinations of Karnataka with 50% of marks in the final year in the appropriate branch of engineering.

Admission Under Management Quota

• Pass in PUC/Intermediate/ 10+2 with minimum 45 % marks in the group of Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology/ Biology/Computer / Electronics, as well as pass in English. In the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, it should not be less than 40%.

Admission Under Government Quota

• A Candidate must belong to Karnataka as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
• Pass in PUC/Intermediate/ 10+2 with minimum 45 % marks in the group of Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology/ Biology/Computer / Electronics, as well as pass in English.
• Based on the ranks obtained in CET-Karnataka.
